$7,500,000 Gilmer County Building Authority
On November 19, 2008, the Gilmer County Building Authority issued $7,500,000 of revenue bonds on behalf of Gilmer County to finance the completion of the new Gilmer County Courthouse and to renovate and equip the former Gilmer County Library for use by Dalton State College. Gray & Pannell LLP acted as bond counsel on the transaction. The Courthouse project will complete the Courthouse which began construction in 2006 to replace the former Courthouse which was built in the early 1900’s. The library project will allow Dalton State College to begin offering classes in Ellijay in early 2009. The attorneys of Gray & Pannell LLP are proud to have a long standing relationship with Gilmer County and have financed over $70,000,000 worth of projects for the County since 2004.
